Kristof Lepoutre studies Japanology in Ghent
"Together with Jeanny from Scotland and Erica from Germany, I took on the challenge of climbing Mount Fuji. We started our challenge in good spirits, but after just 5 minutes it started to rain… And the shower unfortunately continued until ten hours later we were down again. We could barely see a few meters in front of us, so no nice views or breath-taking landscapes. Our clothes were soaked to the core and it even started to freeze a little. We quickly got to the top when we finally had the courage to take a group photo and then started the descent again. Jeanny and Erica have sworn never to climb Fuji again, but I want to risk it one more time… when the weather is better."
