Samira is lid van ISIC. Ze gaat samen met haar vriendin Silke, eveneens ISIC-lid, mee naar New York in de Hampton Inn Times Square South. Samira en Silke betalen elk dus de scherpste prijs voor hun trip. Om de vierpersoonskamer vol te krijgen, reizen ook de ouders van Silke mee. Haar moeder is alumnus van Vlerick Business School en betaalt daarom slechts een toeslag van EUR 50. Haar vader werkt bij Infrabel, dus hij moet EUR 100 toeslag betalen.
Is iedereen in de vierpersoonskamer ISIC-lid? Dan profiteert iedereen van de scherpste nettoprijs.
Deze toeslagen worden afgerekend door ISIC Belgium, vertegenwoordigd door de Belgian Youth and Student Services vzw, los van de boeking bij de reisorganisatie. Deze afrekening gebeurt in overleg via e-mail of WhatsApp met ISIC Belgium.

A concrete example
Samira is a member of ISIC. She is travelling to New York with her friend Jools, also an ISIC member, and staying at the Hampton Inn Times Square South. Samira and Jools are therefore each paying the best possible price for their trip. To fill the four-person room, Jools' parents are also travelling with them. Her mother is an alumnus of Vlerick Business School and therefore only pays a surcharge of EUR 50. Her father works at Infrabel, so he has to pay a surcharge of EUR 100.
Is everyone in the four-person room an ISIC member? Then everyone benefits from the best net price.
These surcharges are settled by ISIC Belgium, represented by Belgian Youth and Student Services vzw, separately from the booking with the travel organisation. This settlement is done in consultation via email or WhatsApp with ISIC Belgium.

Un exemple concret
Soumaia est membre de l'ISIC. Elle part avec son amie Sophie, également membre de l'ISIC, à New York, où elles séjourneront au Hampton Inn Times Square South. Soumaia et Sophie paient donc chacune le prix le plus avantageux pour leur voyage. Afin de remplir la chambre quadruple, les parents de Sophie les accompagnent également. Sa mère est ancienne élève de la Vlerick Business School et ne paie donc qu'un supplément de 50 EUR. Son père travaille chez Infrabel, il doit donc payer un supplément de 100 EUR.
Tout le monde dans la chambre quadruple est-il membre de l'ISIC ? Dans ce cas, tout le monde bénéficie du prix net le plus avantageux.
Ces suppléments sont facturés par ISIC Belgium, représentée par l'asbl Belgian Youth and Student Services, indépendamment de la réservation auprès de l'agence de voyage. Cette facturation se fait en concertation par e-mail ou WhatsApp avec ISIC Belgium.
